Namita heads the BFSI Growth vertical at Vahura where she is responsible for business development in the BFSI sector and recruitment of mid to senior level tax and finance professionals across corporate houses, funds, law firms, tax and consulting firms.
Prior to joining Vahura, she built and headed the BFSI Sales & Strategy vertical at Monster.com (a global talent platform, recently rebranded as Foundit) where her key responsibilities included business development as well as recruitment in the finance, audit, and tax domains along with the execution of mega job fairs for finance professionals. In the past, she was also a Founder and CEO of Careersanta.com which was an exclusive job and internship portal for legal and finance professionals in India.
Before venturing into the recruitment space, Namita worked for more than five and a half years at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai in their Direct Tax team where she handled advisory work pertaining to direct tax, international tax, M&A tax as well as private client practice. She started her career as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a boutique accounting firm where she worked in the direct tax and corporate advisory team.
When not at work, Namita enjoys conducting fun indoor and outdoor activities for kids. Being a cinephile, you can also find her watching movies and TV shows in her free time.
Namita has completed her graduation in commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, University of Mumbai and holds her law degree from KC Law College, University of Mumbai. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (First Attempt) and Company Secretary (All India Ranker at Foundation and Final levels).
