Nandini prides herself on being more than a recruiter - she is an advisor, career counsellor and sounding board for lawyers at the mid to senior level across practice areas, looking to achieve their professional goals at law firms and private equity funds.
As a Managing Consultant in the Private Practice & Funds Group at Vahura, in India, she has helped firms and funds solve their talent and bandwidth challenges in consideration with their workplace culture and recruitment process. Nandini has knowledge of and experience assisting premier firms in India as well as Magic Circle and prominent regional firms in the UK and SEA geographies.
Earlier this year, Nandini began collaborating with LRG International - a leading attorney placement firm in the USA, and is currently based in Virginia, USA. She works with AmLaw 100 firms to achieve their workforce objectives, while simultaneously guiding local and international candidates at the associate level on the myriad options available to make the best career choice.
Over the years, Nandini has been involved in projects under Vahura’s Mentorship vertical - coaching law school students, fresh graduates and those from lesser privileged backgrounds, on resume drafting, job interviews and career planning. On the Consulting front, Nandini has assisted the team with Brand Perception Analysis, compensation benchmarking, and different aspects of partnership structuring for our clients.
Having spent equal parts of her life in Zambia and then India, she speaks more than three languages and has an appreciation for different cultural identities and food. In her free time, Nandini enjoys strength training and spending time with her two rescued dogs. She is also the co-founder of the Good Food Project a non-profit organisation that played a leading role in ensuring the provision of meals and other essentials like PPE equipment to crematorium and cemetery workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nandini has a Masters in Business Administration and an Economics degree.
