As a Head of Vahura OnBoard, Shweta focuses on the strategy & governance requirements of the boards of Indian companies. Shweta is a trusted advisor to Directors and CEOs on board composition, director remuneration and non-executive director searches. She has successfully helped Fortune 100 companies and listed Indian companies, identify and select the right Independent Director. She also works closely with funds and their portfolio companies on how to best utilise their non-executive director roles.
Prior to joining Vahura in 2014, Shweta worked with Jet Airways, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and the Chambers of Veena Gowda. Her experience has spanned Yield Management, Operations & Underwriting and Legal.
Apart from work, what drives Shweta is being a keen observer of life and people. Shweta loves travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Shweta has completed LLB. from Mumbai University. She is also qualified to be an Independent Director having completed the Proficiency Test for Independent Directors by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA). She is also certified by IFC, CEDR and IICA to train on "Managing Disputes and Difficult Conversations on the Board".
