Vahura designates Karl Fernandes as Senior Partner

1 AUGUST, MUMBAI: Karl Fernandes has been designated as Senior Partner by the Board of Directors of Vahura. Karl, who was one of the founding members of India’s leading search and advisory firm for specialist qualified professions (legal, finance and governance), had been a Partner since 2017.

As Head of the Corporate Practice Group, Fernandes has built enduring relationships with General Counsel and corporate legal departments across the country. Under his leadership, Vahura has become the premier firm for legal recruitment consulting in the in-house space. Fernandes continues to play a key role as a strategic partner and advisor on HR-related aspects for several domestic companies and multinationals.

Going forward, Fernandes is slated to play a bigger role in Vahura’s horizontal growth in functions beyond Legal. Leveraging the strength of the firm’s networks and his vast experience, Fernandes will work on expanding Vahura’s footprint in recruitment for the Finance, Tax, Compliance, Public Policy, and Governance functions.

Fernandes is based in the financial capital of Mumbai, which has allowed him to forge strong connections with C-level executives and business leaders.
