We are delighted to announce Shweta Vora Sheth as Vahura’s newest partner—and our first woman partner.

A Vahura ‘lifer’, Shweta has been with the firm since its early days. Since she joined as a young consultant back in 2011, she has shaped some of our most impactful practices and set the bar for leadership grounded in consistency, merit, and results. Shweta has been instrumental in building and scaling the In-House Legal Recruitment Practice, one of Vahura’s flagship offerings. She also laid the foundations for the Compliance Recruitment Practice, which she heads and has steered into a promising period of growth.

The Partnership Selection Committee and the Board recognised in Shweta qualities that Vahura celebrates: the ability to grow business units with operational excellence, to lead with integrity, and to deliver value to clients. Shweta is a trusted advisor to GCs, CCOs and HR leaders, who often turn to her for guidance on building high-performing legal and governance teams. At the organisational level, her contributions extend well beyond business lines. She has led initiatives across systems and innovations, and helped shape the culture that defines Vahura today.

Shweta’s entry into the partnership crystallises our vision of being a multi-generational firm, one that grows beyond its founding team and creates pathways for exceptional professionals to rise through merit, vision, and impact. “Shweta is an inspiring leader, trusted advisor and a change champion,” says Ritvik Lukose, Co-founder and CEO, “She has contributed to Vahura’s growth from a market and organisational standpoint. She joins the partnership at a moment of reckoning for in-house legal and compliance teams. As businesses increasingly look at risk functions as value creators, Shweta is uniquely positioned to guide clients and senior professionals.”

Karl Fernandes, Senior Partner and Head of Corporate Legal Recruitment, says: “It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside Shweta and watch her grow with the business. Clients don’t just appreciate her reliability, they rely on it. She has a way of delivering not just what’s promised, but more. Over the years, she’s been a driving force behind many of our knowledge and L&D initiatives, which are critical to a firm that prides itself on research excellence and anticipating market trends. Shweta’s induction into the partnership isn’t just well deserved, it’s a natural next step.”

Shweta joins Karl, Ritvik, Lee Ignatius, Rishabh Chopra and Balanand Menon in the partnership. She will continue to play a key role in charting the next chapter of Vahura’s growth story—now as Partner.
